Dates & Session Fees

We offer the finest in residential summer camping with a full complement of water and land activities. Our purpose is to make a positive impact on the lives of the boys and girls who stay with us at Camp Mishawaka.

I gained self-confidence, made life-long friendships with people I would have never met otherwise, tried new things, mastered skills, developed quality character traits that were put to the test daily living with people much different than myself.

Only boys and girls of good moral character, eight-years-of-age and over, may become campers at Mishawaka. The management reserves the right to dismiss anyone whose influence and/or conduct become obnoxious or in any way threatens the best interests of other campers. In such cases, camp tuition will not be refunded.

Deposit Policy

A deposit of $800.00, which is applied toward tuition, is required with registration. If cancellation notification is received before March 1st, 2019, the entire deposit will be returned. If cancellation notification is received after March 1st, 2019 and before 30 days of start of session, will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit. A cancellation within 30 days of the start of the session will result in forfeiture of the full tuition.

Additional Expenses

Tuition fees are inclusive of round-trip transportation from and to the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport (MSP) on the start and end date of each session. Also included are all “In-Camp” activities with the exception of horseback riding. Other typical options with additional costs include extended wilderness trips and chaperone fee for flights in which we provide a counselor. A deposit to a spending account is recommended. Typical expenses vary according to a camper’s program, age and interests. A deposit of $75 per week is suggested. An itemization of this account is sent home with either a bill or refund check at the end of the season.

The spending account covers expenses not included in tuition, such as:

  • Cash for the trip home
  • Items purchased at the camp store

Typical purchases include clothing, stationery, batteries, toiletries, sunscreen and mosquito repellent.

Parents are asked to deposit all spending money with the camp office as campers have no need for cash while at camp.
